Firebird Targets are self-contained, which makes them very safe to store and transport. But, there are a few guidelines to follow to ensure your targets remain ready-to-use:

  • Cool & Dry: Like ammo storage – a cool, dry place away from heat sources and moisture. Think basements, cabinets, ammo cans, more than garages or sheds. We’ve seen target still shoot just fine after spending a winter outside, but for best results, “keep your powder dry”!
  • Fire Safety First: Keep them far from open flames, sparks, and anything flammable. Treat them with the same respect you would ammunition. While Firebird Targets are intended to remain stable in heat, open flame may cause them to flare up. Never put Firebird Targets in a fire!
  • Out of Reach: Especially important if you have curious critters or little ones around. Store them securely where they can’t be tampered with. We’ve engineered Firebird Targets to be safe to handle, drop, and more, the contents could be dangerous if ingested.
  • Original Packaging: Keep them in their original packaging until you’re ready to use them. It provides added protection and keeps them organized. We’ve worked closely with multiple certifying agencies to develop packaging that prevents unwanted detonation, so keeping Firebird Targets in their original packaging until use is the best way to keep them safe!

By following these simple tips, you can ensure your Firebird Targets are safe and ready to deliver that satisfying BOOM when you hit the bullseye! Remember, safety first, then unleash the fun!
