American Marksman Tests Firebird Targets against 7.62×51 M80 Rounds

Firebird Targets have long been used for IHR – Instant Hit Recognition. Whether it is a speed shooting run or a long-range precision shot, Firebird Targets instantly let you know if you’ve hit the bullseye. We recently partnered with American Marksman and they just released this video showing how Firebird 50 BIO and Firebird 65 BIO Targets work down range when going up against some 7.62 NATO ammo!

Equipped with a Sig Sauer 716i TREAD rifle chambered in 7.62x51mm and a box of Bullets 1st 7.62×51 M80 Ball FMJ rounds, American Marksman took to the range for a fun day of popping Firebird Targets. Setting up Firebird Targets 100 yards downrange means the 50 BIO targets may be a bit tough with iron sights, but should be pretty easy to hit with some glass. The 65 BIO Targets will offer a 30% larger target, so some might be able to hit those without a scope. American Marksman shows us how it’s done in this short video!
